Alfred pour Mac

I cannot speak too highly of Alfred. I was a contented LaunchBar user for years until it had an issue with the Setapp version of Path Finder which Obdev didn't seem interested in fixing, so I switched to Alfred and a world of opportunity opened up. The downside is that it has cost me several days of tweaking but the upside is that it has revolutionised the way I search and navigate my Mac. Sure I could have improved my use of LB too, but the fact that Alfred has plentiful guidance and an active forum makes all the difference. It also gives the user far more customisation options, and has so far been rock solid. It's one of those apps where you think "I wish it could do that"…then find it can.

Quicksilver is the best.

I must say, I do appreciate the never stopped intensity of the effort to update under any aspect this great gem!

I'm a bit scared by the warning I had that High Sierra is almost no more supported and I wonder if I should or not upgrade (if this update is LESS effective than the one I have)

Does version 5 *finally* let you assign custom letters to an app to launch?
